| Fundado como Rio Cricket Club. Em 1880 mudou para The Paysandu Cricket Club (posteriormente o artigo "The" foi retirado) e atualmente chama-se Paissandu Atlético Clube (mudou para o nome após 1914, primeiramente para Paysandu Athletic Club).
